Restorative Dentistry In Bermuda

Restorative Dentistry

Are you missing one or all of your teeth? Restorative dentistry can repair and restore the natural look of your smile. With restorative dentistry treatments, you can smile with confidence again!

Tooth-Coloured Fillings

For small cavities, tooth coloured fillings are an excellent choice. To protect your overall health, our Doctors only use mercury-free fillings to treat cavities. Not only are they safer, but they’re also more attractive.

Dental Crown

Our Doctors offer full-coverage dental crowns, made from luminous porcelain and Zirconia materials. These restorations offer beautiful aesthetic results that protect your natural tooth from further damage or decay. They’re also perfect for topping off your dental implants.

Dental Implants

Are you missing one or all of your teeth? Our Doctor is able to place your dental implants and the implant-supported crown, bridge or denture in her own office during one appointment, all on the same day!

A dental implant is a small titanium post that is surgically placed in the jaw to take the place of your missing tooth root. Due to its bio-compatible properties, your natural bone fuses with the titanium to create a strong base for your replacement dental crown. Your replacement tooth will be carefully crafted to look natural and fit into your smile seamlessly.

Dr. Landy has extensive education in dental implantology, including a Masters Certificate from Pacific Institute of Implant Dentistry and a one year AAID Maxi course at New York University . She was bestowed an Implant Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2005 and a second Fellowship from the American Association of Implant Dentist in 2018. Dr. Landy has placed and restored over 1000 implants!  Being a comprehensive surgeon, she performs all her own sinus lift and one grafting procedures with the assistance of ReNew Dental Care's 3D x-ray scan,  platelet rich fibrin and digital treatment planning.

For patients missing all or most of their teeth, we offer traditional dentures to give back the function, feel and appearance of natural teeth. For optimal aesthetics, we also offer Valplast and VisiClear flexible smile replacements for partial areas of missing teeth.

If you already have dentures, but hate the way they fit, we offer an implant retainment option for greater stability. We can even retrofit your existing dentures to snap into place!

Implant Retained Dentures

Implant retained dentures can significantly restore the wearer’s quality of life. Our Bermuda patients can be more confident during their daily activities with the superior chewing and speaking functions our durable implant retained dentures provide. This restorative treatment helps prevent bone loss in the jaws, which helps maintain a more youthful facial appearance. Using mini or standard implants, Dr. Landy can install your prosthesis in just one appointment, with minimal surgery.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

Loss of your natural teeth, whether due to an accident or as part of the aging process, can be traumatic and affect your outlook on life. With the help of full or partial mouth reconstruction, there are many options to restore your smile even if you have suffered extensive tooth loss. Dr. Landy is sensitive and supportive to our patients with extensive dental needs.

Porcelain Bridgework

If you are missing more than one tooth in an area, our Doctors might suggest a bridge as a tooth replacement option.

Porcelain bridgework is used to replace one or more missing teeth and is anchored to natural teeth (called abutments) on either end of the gap. Bridgework will allow you to improve your smile and stabilize that area of your mouth, allowing you to smile with confidence again.

Gentle Root Canal Therapy

If your tooth is suffering from a large crack, cavity, severe pain, or an abscess, our Doctors will likely recommend endodontic therapy (also known as a root canal) to save it. If the idea of a root canal makes you feel nervous, don’t let it! Root canal therapy is a relatively painless procedure. Your comfort is always our priority. Once your procedure is completed, a dental crown will be placed to protect your tooth from further damage.

If you aren’t sure which restorative dentistry treatment plan is best for you, give us a call today at ReNew Dental Care to discuss your oral health goals and schedule your appointment!
